Philippe Descola is the author of "Par-delà nature et culture" ("Beyond Nature and Culture") and delivers his talk entitled "All kinds of Animals", in which he presents several possible and existant concepts for the relation between humans and animals. These are naturalism, totemism, analogism and animism, each of which are limited to specific historical and ethnological contexts.
